Yeah, I'm putting off writing my essay for my class. 8D It won't be too bad, though, since it's an essay on something I'm familiar with.

I saw the Bleach manga spoilers and all I can say is... holy fuck, Kensei is hot. His arms looked omnomable, in my opinion. xD And the Risa/Shunsui interaction looks hilarious. It's odd that I'll get back into Bleach whenever the Vaizards show up, and then leave the fandom until they're mentioned again.

I should stop posting random things, but I've had this journal for almost four years and I'm only up to 297 entries total. I'm going to make it to 300 by July 24th, though.

Okay, I guess I should get to work.

Your result for Roleplayer Test!...

The Shipper

Random, Character-Oriented, Sexual

As a Shipper, your focus in roleplay is romantic and sexual tension. It could be a certain ship or a variety of ships, but character relationships (and not the friendship kind) are what make roleplay fun for you. However, it's not necessarily sex: unlike the Smutfic, you're more interested in how and why and how your characters change and develop before they "get anywhere" rather than whether or not they actually do. You like to develop characters as much as possible, but often forget that any unrelated outside plot exists; you also tend to empathize with your characters a little too much: when things start going badly IC, it tends to mess with your OOC emotions.

Anyway! Not too much has been going on lately. Work has been slow, although I spent most of yesterday morning fixing Bobbie's mistakes from Friday. The RP front is slowly starting to get busy... I'm working on my app for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], and I'm going to reserve a character for Salkia when I get finished with my Shadow app. I don't have to worry about [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] anymore, even though that makes me feel kind of depressed. I still want to RP Arashi somewhere; I just need to find a game that seems right for him.

I got talked into seeing the Star Trek movie by Shannon. xD While I'm not a fan of the show or anything, I'll just take it as it is.

Hmmm... I thought that I had more to update about, but I guess not. Oh! Except for Supernatural. The season finale was awesome, although not as epic as I had imagined it. This next season should be great. :D Speaking of, much love for my new Supernatural moodtheme.
jupiterhalo: (Dean Winchester)
So, I saw the Dragonball movie last night with a few of my friends. xD It actually wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be! I really liked Bulma (who was played by Emmy Rossum... wtf) and Yamcha. Goku was pretty bad, and I was definitely amused to see Chow-Yun Fat as Master Roshi. I probably won't own it, but I'd likely see it again if I had the chance. The new Harry Potter trailer was also playing before the movie, and that was awesome. I can't wait for July. x3

Tonight, Shannon, Jason, Joe and I are also going to this concert called Video Games Live. The Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra is going to be performing orchestral pieces from different video games. That is going to be so kickass! I hope that they something from the Resident Evil series, but something tells me that's not going to happen.

The weather here has been so odd lately. It was nice for the first half of the week, until Thursday. It started raining this really cold rain, and by Friday it had turned into this really weird slushy rain/snow. That stopped yesterday, but it was still really cold and wet. Today, it's all sunshine and warmth. Wtf, Colorado weather? xD

I bought a few new books yesterday. I finished one, and am about a third of the way through my other one. However, I can't read any more of it until I get through Parakiss and work on my Arashi application for [livejournal.com profile] clairbourn. xo Ana and I have been talking about RP business, and that's really helping me get my spark back for roleplaying.

I'm hungry. I should go get some food and then work on that, before we leave for the concert.

Oh my goodness! I have totally forgotten how fun playing Final Fantasy is! x3 Especially IX... it is so hilarious. xD I need to play it all the way through, since I'm picking up Steiner in [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. And after I play IX, I need to play VIII... since I am also picking up Laguna. xD; Oh, RP! You shall be the death of me... especially since school starts again in, like, a month.

I put together my desk and chair yesterday. It was really fun doing that! I've found that I really like buying furniture and all that, then putting it together. I got some new jersey knit sheets from Target, as well~ x3 So it's been a pretty good weekend thus far! Even though it's almost over.

I just need to go find icons for Steiner, and new icons for Laguna... I had so many on my old laptop! At least Laguna is a more popular character than Steiner is... x3

This is a meme I stole from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]!

Comment on this post and I will choose seven interests from your profile. You will then explain what they mean/why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

Final Fantasy VIII: This game was the first FF game I've ever played, and it's also been the only one I've completed. I love everything about it: the music, the characters and their relationships with each other, the the storyline of the game... there was a lot of stuff in this game that I could relate to, and when I finished it the first time I ended up walking away with hope about some things in my own life. xD It's also probably been the only game that I've ever stayed up for nine or 10 hours to play.

Musicals: Ahhh, musicals. I love musicals. I've always loved watching them when I was growing up, from the Disney animated ones to things like Moulin Rouge. They always made me feel happy when I watched them, and of course I loved singing along to the music whenever I had a chance to learn the lyrics. I own the soundtracks to several musicals like West Side Story, and I tend to jump at the chance to go see one performed live (like at the Carousel or the Lincoln Center). I really enjoy how so much in these stories can be said with music and lyrics.

Red vs. Blue: I first saw this series at Mike's apartment here in Fort Collins, when I was picking up Shannon for something. They made me watch the "Internet vs. Real Life" PSA, and it was cracking me up so much. It's really the only show that I kept up with via the web, and it never failed to make me laugh or make me feel happy.

Resident Evil: The second gaming franchise I got obsessed with! xD Let's see... I first began playing Resident Evil almost three years ago, during Christmas Break. I bought the first game for the PS1 on a whim when I ended up going to a pawn shop for whatever reason. It confused me, since at the time I was incredibly frightened of 'horror' things, except for paranormal stuff. But over the break I finished the game and loved it, despite the real horror of circa 1996 graphics. xD And so, my second obsession was born; this and Final Fantasy are really the only games that I own. I have very few games outside of these two series. There is just something so therapeutic about coming home and shooting some zombies after a bad day. Oh! And RE also helped me get over my fear of the horror genre; it was a surprising but welcome side-effect.

Writing: I've always been told that I have a talent for writing (although I'm not quite sure if that's the case now). But when I was younger, I wrote a lot. Whether in a diary or in a story, it helped me cope with the stress of the day-to-day stuff, and really opened up my imagination. One of my favorite classes I took in junior high was creative writing. I love writing fanfic (even though I haven't really written anything for a while), and stuff like writing essays and making it sound good for school always came easy to me.

Traveling: I know that I never really mention anything, but I do love to travel. I definitely have a list of places I want to go before I die or settle down, and I really want to get the money to make that happen. Other cultures really fascinate me, and I think it would be so much fun to experience it firsthand, rather than just read about it in an Anthro book or whatver.

Astrology: Yes, I will admit it. xD I love astrology! It's not something I believe in, per se, but it's pretty cool to be able to read something and go 'Yeah, that's totally like me.' I've definitely been out of practice, as I haven't had time to really continue learning about it or applying my knowledge. But I used to be able to interpret a person's chart pretty well and understand what it means.

***

There! I feel so much better after getting that posted.

I still haven't heard back on my Nemu application. >: I hope the mod gets around to that soon! I'm excited to have the possibility of playing her.

And now, I think I'm going to go on a bike ride. Possibly a long one. I think I may go down to 7-11 and get a Slurpee, or even go to the Dairy Queen on College and get some ice cream.

Okay, this was just too amusing to not post. In SSI, it appears that Hiyori and Ichigo have slept together, so Shinji is trying to forget that/get comfort, etc. So I suggested to Brakish that he go see Orihime for some bewbage comfort. And then... this happened. xD

:O You know you want to click here... )

I have a meme that I'm about to do, so I'll update again when I get that done!

Man, I'm just on a role with these memes. xD;

First, an RP meme that I stole from [livejournal.com profile] sorcerhuntres.

Everybody, have fun! )

And for the second meme, I redid the song lyric one from my previous entry; I just did them from English to Korean, then Korean back to English. Enjoy!

Some of these made me LoL... even if they are easy. xD )

And in other news, I got the room in Loveland for sure! x333 I'm so excited~ We're going to try and have me moved in on the first, but we shall see how that goes.

Blah morning. Blah day at work (although I did find some really cute shirts <3)...

Just feeling blah. ._. Who knows why? It doesn't help that I'm having mixed thoughts about the RP, too. xD; Well, maybe if I go take a shower with my new shampoo and conditioner, then go play "Resident Evil," I'll feel a little better.

xD Okay, I just had to post this. This is what happens when Shannon and I do logs at 3:30 in the morning.

xWise Guitaristx: While Shuichi was changing and getting ready, Hiro placed their tea cups in the dishwasher and changed into some pajamas, as well. He turned down the convers for Shuichi, and motioned to him once he was ready. "Slide in. I'll join you after I brush my teeth, okay?"
xWise Guitaristx: *covers

xWise Guitaristx: [xD LoL, I can imagine that]
xWise Guitaristx: [Hiro rolling back the tongue of the shoe, saying "Well, get in, Shu! Ahahahaha, a Shu in a shoe! I'm so funny."]
xtechnopockyx: [XDDDD!!!! omg no]
xWise Guitaristx: [xD That is really hilarious]

Gracious.

School wasn't all that bad today. Even though I have so much going on, the day goes by really quickly. It also helped that I had some granola bars and stuff to eat between classes. At least I wasn't fainting from hunger like I was last Wednesday. xD

My Comp teacher is hilarious. I think I'm going to get out of that class late every time we meet, since he likes to tell us so many anecdotes and personal stories. xD But that's fine; I love teachers that are like that. And Beal's a dad- his daughter (I think) is six weeks old. :D

Speaking of Beal, I actually spoke up in his class today. No one seemed to know much about Constantine, so I eventually piped up with the answers. xD; Still... some of the kids in my class make me go "Wut?"

I'm happy that tomorrow I only have one class, though. And this week is my Wednesday off, so that is fun too. A nice long break from work. I want to try and head over to Lane Bryant's sometime soon. They're closing the store, so they're having major sales right now. I've never been in there, but now seems like a good time to check it out. :D

I've been reading all of my Resident Evil books again; this time in chronological order, not when they were released. It's been really fun! I'm on Code Veronica, with the scary zombie on the cover. I also need to bust out "Resident Evil 4" again and try to finish it. I think I'm almost 4/5 of the way through, so I can't stop now!

I also need to find a complete copy of "Resident Evil 2" and play that. :/

Mmmm... I need to write more often. xD My inner muse is begging to be let out; which is why I need to work on my Scott x Jean fic! xD At least I have it started, and I know what's going to happen. Maybe I'll try and get some of that finished tomorrow.

I redid my LJ layout... it was having too many emergencies. So, I like this new one better (I use it for Sayuki's journal) but I'm not quite sold on the purple yet. But, I can always change it if I want to; it's not like it's set in stone.

"South Park" in Japanese is hilarious. xD Much love for Hiro and Kappei, as well as the guy who plays Cartman. "Chef-san!" "Hatto-kun!"

So, it's less than a week to Christmas. The countdown begins... *cringes*

I don't think things at Macy*s will be all that busy, though. Luckily, I have almost all of my presents ready, except for a few that I knew I wasn't going to have in time for the holidays. So, I can always give those presents out after the holiday season is over.

So, the solstice party is tomorrow. And as always, I'm considering not going... I kind of feel like there are a few people who don't want me there, so what's the point in showing up? It would be nice to see Billy, Joe and the rest of the guys again, however. So, I don't know. I have to drive Shannon there anyway, so I may stay for a while. But we'll see.

The good thing about tomorrow is that Shannon and I are making soccer ball cookies for Ken's birthday on Saturday. <3 That's going to be a lot of fun, although I still need to buy the icing and sprinkles, as well as find a recipe for sugar cookies. I think that we have one that my great-grandmother passed down or something, so I'll see if I can find it for tomorrow.

Now that break has started, I've been trying to catch up on some movie watching. I've recently gotten into watching "Scrubs;" I even asked for the first season DVD set for Christmas. I went to a movie on the 11th ("The Holiday," with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz), which was fun. I haven't seen a movie in theaters since "Saw III." I watched my DVD of "Phantom of the Opera" as well, which was great. I remembered why I had seen it seven times in theaters when it first came out. I also went and rented a few DVDs at Blockbuster: "Superman Returns" and "Dear Frankie." I've been wanting to see "Dear Frankie" for a long time now, and the only rental place that had it was Blockbuster. So, when the DVD was *finally* available, I totally had to get it.

I watched "Superman Returns" first, because it was only a two day rental. It was probably a bad thing starting about one in the morning, since I fell asleep about an hour and a half into the movie. So I missed the ending completely, but from what I saw of it first was really good. Yay for James Marsden; he rocks my socks.

Now I'm in the process of watching "Dear Frankie," which is excellent so far. I'm about half an hour from the end. Gerard Butler's character makes me laugh; he's so awkward at first but then becomes so sweet. <3 The only bad thing about it is because it's a Scottish film, everyone has really thick accents. However, that really helps with the setting and the story. Frankie is a really cute kid. And Emily Mortimer, who plays his mother, also plays Young Sophie in "Howl's Moving Castle."

So, last night I went out to dinner with Jacob. It was still really awkward, especially since I was tired. He kept staring at me throughout dinner, which was very weird. He was also asking me about my dating history, because apparently Charity told him a few things. xD He also really didn't seem to be interested in many things I had to say; for example, I asked him what movies he had seen lately. He told me, and I expected him to ask me in return so we could have a nice talk about them. But he didn't. It still feels really strange with him.

Over break, I plan on writing a lot more. I need to write the following pairings for fanfics:

-Scott x Jean
-Keisuke x Sayuki
-Sayuki x Takumi

I also want to RP a lot more. It seems like Sayuki and Mako are doing a lot; the same with Hiro and Aya. I also need to work on my applications for Knight and Sailor Pluto for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], as well as finish my application for Laguna for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. Both Mako and Shannon wanted me to join, so I'll give it a shot.

I'll also be working quite a bit. Since my mother is losing her job in January, I want to save up some money so I can at least help pay for some of my education. I also need to start saving up for Fanime, NDK 2007 and a computer. So many things to buy; so little money to buy them with. >_>

Oh yes, it seems like a lot of people have been crabby lately. I wonder why that is...?
