182- Yay~!

So, today was awesome! I got my new laptop 6 days ahead of schedule! I've already started to set it up, so I hope I can get it to how I want it.

And this week is going to be my second week at Schrader's. Things have definitely gotten a little easier since last week. I think I'm going to really like it there. It's just a pain on the days where I have to work there and at Macy's.

And I also got a new moodtheme, as well. x3 As much as I love Renji/Rukia, it's time for a change. So, I really like this "Final Fantasy VIII" one.

And I think I'm going to ask Oni and Jei about how much things cost in California. I think I want to move to Carmel-by-the-Sea, if I can. I've decided that by the time I need to get a new driver's license is when I've at least tried to move to someplace like California. Since I have a few relatives living there as well, I could always ask them what it's like, etc.

...And now I have a headache. xD

178- Glee!

So, whee. A lot's been going on lately!

Ummm... my 21st birthday was on the 7th, so I had a fun time drinking seriously. I had about 5 or 6... I've discovered that I don't really like vodka that much. xD But yeah, I could still walk straight, all that... my speech was just a little slurry. So, I guess that I can hold my liquor pretty well.

My parents also left for Mexico on the 11th... so that leaves me with an empty house. Luckily, Shannon's staying over with me so I don't feel lonely. And last night, her, Ana and myself had a sleepover. Awesome times. x3

But the BIGGEST thing that happened today was that Debbie called me this morning. I was tangled up in my sheets so I couldn't get to the phone, and she left me a voicemail telling me to call her. When I did, she offered me the job I applied for! :D So, I officially start at 8 a.m. on the 26th, which still gives me Thanksgiving Break off. I'm so excited! x3

Add a shower and some ice cream to that mix, and it's been a pretty sweet couple of days. <3

176- ZOMG.

jupiterhalo: (Wheee!)
x3 So, I may be getting a second job! I have to update my resume and all that, and hopefully turn it in tomorrow. *crosses fingers* I hope that Debbie likes me!

And on a random note, I realized that I'm only 300 journal entries away from 476, which is the year the Roman Empire fell! *dork*
jupiterhalo: (Ceres)
All right kids, it's time for an actual update.

NDK, jobs, and my own private thoughts... )
jupiterhalo: (Penor)
So, the countdown to NDK has begun. I think I'm only going to be able to pull off Hiro and Orihime this year, which is fine by me. As much as I'd like to do Nagi... it costs money that I just don't have. So, Hiro is for Friday and Sunday, while Orihime is for Saturday.

I've been sleeping a lot lately. I really don't know why that is-- I've been really stressed out lately, but it's for seemingly no reason. As soon as I get done with a class, I'll come home and crash. Then do the same before work. And then sleep for four hours before I have to go to my 9 a.m. classes. @.@ Hopefully that will stop soon. And hopefully I can get my emo-ing under control before NDK. I don't want it to be like last year. :/

On a happier note, I finally got a decent raise. xD Andrea upped my pay from $7.10 to $7.75 an hour. While that is awesome, it's sad that I've been there two years and make as much as a lot of the new people we're hiring. Oh well-- since I'm looking into getting a possible second job, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. At least I have fun at Macy's. :D

I'm excited for next year's NDK-- I already have my costume plans lined up. But yeah, I'm really tired. So, I'll probably update a little more before we leave on Thursday.

161-Ugh.

jupiterhalo: (Say what?!)
Even though I slept for a long time (about 8 hours), it still feels like I haven't slept at all.

Part of that was because one of my managers called me at 9:45, asking if I could work. xD

The other part was that when I went to sleep, I kept having nightmares. Seriously! Every single time... it was so frustrating. T_T I'm just so done with all of this-- why does it have to show up in my dreams?

At least I finshed the book Darcie gave me!

155- Blah.

Jul. 14th, 2007 10:01 pm
jupiterhalo: (Tangled)
Blah morning. Blah day at work (although I did find some really cute shirts <3)...

Just feeling blah. ._. Who knows why? It doesn't help that I'm having mixed thoughts about the RP, too. xD; Well, maybe if I go take a shower with my new shampoo and conditioner, then go play "Resident Evil," I'll feel a little better.
jupiterhalo: (Say what?!)
Work has totally been keeping me down lately. xO This past week I had 38 hours scheduled... it's good money, but still. xD People just don't seem to realize that I need my days off, too. Of course, I could always turn them down, but... if I do, I feel bad. And I'd like to think that because I'm taking their shifts now, if I need some covered in the future they'll do the same. But, yeah. I'm finally going to get Tina-chan her CD player with this week's big paycheque~! That's exciting.

On another note, what's not so exciting? My first gross experience at Macy*s. xD It's kind of hard to believe that I've been there almost two years, and have now only run into something really nasty in the fitting rooms. I've been around when other people have had their experiences, but it's never happened to me personally. It's nothing too bad compared to what some of my friends have experienced, but... still. xD Anyway, when I was working my shift on Friday, I found a used diaper in the fitting room. T_T It was very gross... even a little warm, still. xD; *sigh* I swear, people are just odd in what they think is acceptable behavior in public places.

And I hate my date with David about a week or so ago! It was pretty fun... we went bowling and then went to Starbucks after that. :D He wants to go mini golfing when we get together next... or he wants to take me to a shooting range and teach me how to shoot a gun. xD; He has some very strange ideas, I think. But both sound fun to me~

And I also went to Red Robin for the first time in months about a week ago, as well. I was hoping to see both Derek and Chewy, since Derek pestered Shannon and me about coming in. xD But it was only Chewy... it was nice to see him, though! And Carter works at the Red Robin, too! o_O I thought that he worked at the one in Loveland, so it was a surprise to see him. xD He came over and we chatted for a bit, and he made me promise to come in and see him more often.

I've also had my first few therapy sessions with Natalie. She seems like a really nice person... and it's been kind of stabilizing to get back into therapy. xD It's like "Okay, I'm in therapy, the world is normal now." But yeah... I'm going to see her for the summer (at $15 a session, though ;o;). But she's taking Britney's place in the fall, so I'm probably going to continue seeing her once school starts again.

Speaking of... I finally decided to take "World Music." xD It's my last semester, and I want to have a few fun classes. And I'm much happier when I have a music class, anyway. But I'm the first person to sign up for it. I wonder if I'll be the only one in it..? There will probably be more people signing up as it gets closer to August.

It's a good thing I'm working all of these hours, though. e_e; Manga is taking over my life! I'm already buying them so much... and now there's a new series I want to check out. xD It is so good, though.

148- Home.

May. 16th, 2007 10:38 pm
jupiterhalo: (Honour)
Yay, I'm finally home. :D

Liz and I woke up at about 9:45, did some last minute packing and stuff, loaded up the PT Cruiser with my stuff and about 11 of her boxes, and off we went to Starbucks to get some chai tea before I dropped her off at work.

Once that happened, I went and got gas, then found my way back to I-70 (after missing the turn once xD). I considered stopping in Parachute, but decided against it. I just drove straight through again, and it took me about the same amount of time to get home as it did to get to Grand Junction, so that was cool. ^_^

Finally made it back home at 4:45, and the first place I went to (even before going home) was Barnes and Noble. They had volumes 4 and 5 of "FAKE," so I snagged those immediately. T_T You have no idea how many places I looked for those stupid books when I was in Grand Junction. xD Then I went over to Best Buy... and they have the special edition of "Gundam SEED Destiny" volume 7! So that made me happy... until I looked at the price. $35 for the DVD and a box. So I forced myself to wait.

So, I got a lot of stuff when I was over on the Western Slope! I'm very satisfied with everything. In the end, here's the loot I ended up with:

~"Soul Calibur III" for the PS2
~Volumes 4 and 5 of "Angel Sanctuary"
~"Gundam SEED" volume 4 DVD

Not quite as much as I had expected, but definitely good stuff. And I still have about $30 left from my travel money, too. ^_^ As a bonus, I came home to one of my tax refund checks, as well~ AND I get paid tomorrow. xD So, I'll have plenty of money for whatever comes... like when Liz comes here on Sunday and stuff. That'll be chill.

Dude, omg! Speaking of work... there have been, like, CRAZY developments at work while I was gone. First off, they changed the clocking system so we have to clock in at the registers in our department, instead of at the time clock. T_T What a hesu and a half, even though I knew about that before I left.

Second, MaryAnn got demoted! O_O I have no idea what happened, but yeah... apparently she got kicked down from Merchandising manager to Jewelry manager. Sara got put in MaryAnn's position, I guess, and Andrea is now the RTW manager.

All I can say is "WTF?!" Sheesh, you leave for, like, five days and everything goes berserk on you. I don't want Andrea to be my manager... T_T I like Sara! I don't like Andrea! Although, if Andrea's manager she may let Shannon and me work together more. xD But, still! To Andrea I say: DO NOT WANT!

...Anyway. I'm exhausted. xD It's been a very long day, and it will be nice to sleep in a bed again. Although, I do want to play more "RE 4" and "SC III"...
jupiterhalo: (Made in Heaven)
xD I think that quote from "Red vs. Blue" sums it up perfectly. My last day of the semester was today. I was intensely relieved, yet sad at the same time. I've gotten to know a lot of really nice people over the semester, especially in my Humanities, Comp and Anthropology classes.

But I guess we're going to see each other again! It seems like David and I are going to go bowling sometime this week, when he calls me. xD And Carter is definitely going to try and see me around more often; when I was talking to him before Comp he even called me "babe." *laughs* And Harlan and I are going to have a study group going on in the fall for Astronomy, it seems. I already know of two of my grades, and I'm sure the rest are going to be more of the same. In Humanities, I got an A (big surprise there) and in Comp I got an A as well. :D I'm feeling pretty confident about my other classes, though. I'll be able to see by Thursday.

So, anyway, here's a summary of my classes for the fall (I may change it, though, as Garrett wants me to take World Music in the fall as well xD):

Mondays and Wednesdays: Astronomy I at 9:00 a.m., then Comp II at 12:00 p.m.
Tuesdays: Classical Mythology at 1:00 p.m.
Thursdays: Comparative Religions at 9:00 a.m., then Classical Mythology at 1:00 p.m.
Fridays: Comp II at 12:00 p.m.

Not a bad schedule if you ask me. It's going to suck getting up that early, but I'd rather do that and be done by 1 or 2 than to be in school until 4 or 5.

I'm looking forward to summer as well. :D Of course, I'll probably end up working a lot. Like tomorrow. My first day off and I already have an extra shift. xD Tomorrow I'm also going to go and try and sell my books back. I know they won't take some of them. Carter told me they aren't taking one of the Anthro books, and a kid from my Comp class said that they weren't taking our textbook, either. T_T But I'll try and sell as many as I can, and then maybe sell the rest on Amazon. Hopefully they'll give me a lot of moolah, so I can have a little extra for when I go to Grand Junction this weekend. I know I probably won't need as much as I think, but I want to try and get gifts for everyone while I'm there.

And now, since I finished my soup, I had better go get Tina-chan some food as well. T_T She is such a pig. But it's nice to not have stress from school anymore. This semester was actually really fun, looking back on it.
jupiterhalo: (I will survive)
So, work today was actually really busy. When I got there at 1, it wasn't too bad. Emily and I just hung out and talked for a while, helping the random customers that showed up. At 2, she decided to go ahead and take her lunch. It wasn't all that busy until 2:30, and then I really got slammed. xD I did $900 worth of sales from that time until I took my break at around 4:20.

After work I went to Vidiot and rented "Howl's Moving Castle," talked with Kira and her dad for a few minutes, then went on my merry way back to my house. :D After I took a little power nap, I went on ahead to the bowling party. It was really fun! I ended up bowling about three or four games with Amy and Loretta's daughter, Debby. For a few of them, this girl from Handbags/Jewelry and her friend joined us. Dana, her boyfriend, Amy and I ended up being the last ones to leave. xD It was really weird seeing Ken and his wife there. o_O

But, yes. Here's a meme that's going around; stolen from Shannon (of course =p)

So, I had a Big Moment in therapy on Thursday. You know how in life there are big moments, and then there are Big Moments? Well, yeah... I was pretty much a wreck after that. Luckily I was able to pull myself together after getting some lunch with Shannon and Liz, but still... I honestly had no idea. It makes me wonder why people put in so much effort... if I were them, I would have given up a long time ago.

But enough about that. The Macy*s bowling party is tomorrow! :D I've been really looking forward to it all week. It should be a lot of fun, just hanging out with people. xD Which reminds me that I need to go to Vidiot after work, so I can get "Howl's Moving Castle" for my review. I had totally forgotten that the rough draft is due on Monday, so I need to watch the film again and write about it. I'm hoping to watch both the English and Japanese versions, but I don't think I'll have time tomorrow. So, for my final draft, then.

And hess. I'm hella hungee. I'll probably go get something to eat soon, and then maybe go to bed.
jupiterhalo: (Ran <3)
Wow, two entries in one night. I guess this is what happens when you have a ton of homework to do and don't want to do it. xD

I think I want to try and take a roadtrip sometime soon.

As much as I love Fort Collins, I never get out of here. The farthest I seem to go is Bellvue... like, 5 miles away.

So, I want to travel and see some part of the country without my parents along with me. Even if Fanime falls through, I think I'd like to go to California for a few days... go to the beach, visit San Francisco... if I was still friends with Pat, I'd take a trip up to Portland and see him.

Or maybe Sedona. I don't know... I'd just like to go somewhere new; somewhere exciting. Just get out of FoCo for a few days. Even Glenwood Springs would be fine with me.

Maybe over Spring Break. Or after school ends (if I don't take summer school). I'm just in the planning stages right now. We'll see what develops, I guess.

And I had a kinda-sorta Macy*s dream Saturday morning. I really don't remember what happened, just that Shannon, Sara, Nicole and Ana were all involved. And Sara and Nicole were helping me through some sort of crisis... I don't know. xD All I know is that I woke up feeling very, very depressed. But happy that a few of my co-workers seemed to care a lot about my well-being, even if it was only a dream.

But, yeah. Enough about that.

I really don't like Anthropology journal entries. ~_~

Whee, so I haven't had a real update in a little while. xD;

I GOT A CAR! :D :D :D :D It's a white 1990 Ford Mustang convertible. I got it last Tuesday (the 30th of January, I believe). I drove it around for almost exactly one day. And then my locks froze and my dad broke them. T_T So, Tina-chan (my car's name; originally it was Aya, but Muss and I decided that Tina would be more appropriate, after the "DOA" character) sat in my driveway until Sunday, when my dad tried unlocking my car and was successful. xD So, I now have a car back!

I got really sick on Saturday, right before I was supposed to go in to work. I'm surprised, because I usually don't get sick, and especially not out of the blue like this. So, my throat is still hurting like a mother. I was hoping to be better by tomorrow, but it doesn't seem like that is happening. I keep drinking a lot of soup and tea, so hopefully my poor throat will be better! And that way, I don't have to have as many voicecidentes.

I'm excited; I get to write an essay on anime for my Comp class. :D It's only 2 1/2 pages, so it should be pretty easy!

I know that this is short, but I'm in the middle of doing my Comp homework, so I'd better pay some attention to that.

Edit:

I made a map for my user profile! xD; It shows where all of the visitors to my profile page hail from in this great world of ours. And... the computer game I bought my dad for Christmas has a create a character option for all of the games. My character has a monocle, which reminded me of Bradley. xD; Too giguely.

So, my parents went up to Cheyenne tonight to check out that car.

... No such luck. According to them, it drove well but already had 150,000 + miles on it. If it was even 2/3 of that, they would have bought it in a heartbeat.

Even though I'm really not surprised, I'm also kind of disappointed. After all, I was hoping to finally have a car back. They're going to keep looking... I hope I get one soon.

And to add insult to injury, they took the PT Cruiser up there. They could have taken the truck, but noooo. They just had to have the PT Cruiser. So they went over to Macy*s, took it from the parking lot, and didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that they had taken it. Even though I was warned that may happen, I still had to call my dad and ask him.

When I did that, he was all "Yeah, we took it. You're going to have to find your own ride home, k thx bai."

Luckily Nicole was willing to give me a ride home. I don't know who I could have gotten one from, otherwise. xD

So, our first day back at school was on Tuesday. I have Sociology Tuesdays and Thursdays, Music History II Mondays and Wednesdays, and Anthropology, Humanities and Comp Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So, again, school every day. But I don't mind- I think I'm going to enjoy this semester a lot more than the previous ones. It's mostly stuff that I love. <3

Humanities is the one I'm going to enjoy the most, I think. Beal is as giguely as ever- even though he wants us to call him Peter, I can't think of him as anything but Beal. xD When he was passing out the syllabus yesterday, he told us that it wasn't stapled because none of the copiers on campus were working. He told us, "So, those of you who get those pages out of order and don't have all three at the end will automatically fail the class." xD Same old Beal.

My Comp teacher didn't show up yesterday. xD We were waiting for 25 minutes before Kathy finally came into the classroom and was all "You can leave- he's not coming until Friday." So, that was fun.

Sociology is going to be really interesting, I think. My teacher is very amusing, and he seems like he knows quite a bit about the subject.

Music History was a bit of a letdown, since the teacher who was going to teach it originally was replaced by another one. Even though the new teacher seems awesome, I still wanted to have Debra as a teacher. xD That would have been totally awesome.

Anthropology seems all right, too. We do a lot of group discussions and journal entries, so it seems like it's going to be an easy class. My teacher is also really nice, so that helps.

In other news, I may be getting a new car. Foxxxy broke down a few weeks ago, and we still haven't towed her to my mechanic's. But my dad's been looking around for a new car for me, and may have found one up in Cheyenne. A co-worker owns it, and she's currently looking for a buyer. He and my mom are going to go up there tomorrow to look at (and hopefully buy) it.

I'm kind of glad that school has started again. That means that I can have a legitimate excuse for not taking on so many extra hours. xD I got paid almost $200 last week, since I worked over 35 hours. Today I picked up my check for $180/32 + hours. It'll be kind of nice not working so much.

Today was also my first appointment of the new semester with Britney. It was really great to see her again; she dyed her hair red. :D We had a really nice talk; I had forgotten how wonderful it is to actually have someone listen to what you really say and mean. I'm going to continue seeing her for a while; we already have ideas about what to work on and talk about during the semester. It seems like I've been improving a lot; a lot of the things I say and think now never would have even occured to me three or four months ago. Even though some of the things I thought would work out didn't, and I was getting some mixed messages... but that's okay. *shrug* I just need to focus my energies elsewhere, if that is the case.

I didn't watch as much anime as I had hoped over the break. I was hoping to try and watch all of "Ronin Warriors" and "Escaflowne," but I didn't even get to watch one episode. xD So that was kind of a letdown, but I was just too busy for it.

Speaking of busy, I haven't heard from Jacob since the 30th. Charity said that he's gotten really caught up in his job, and hasn't had the time to come up here. At least he's stopped calling me every day... xD But now Marco texts me endlessly.

I got another review for my Iketani x Mako x Ryousuke fic, and one for a Sailor Moon fic I wrote about six years ago recently. xD That surprised me, but it was a good surprise. I want to start writing more... I think my creativity is really starting to flow, now that I'm a little happier than I was a few months ago.

Speaking of writing, I really don't feel like doing that anymore. xD If I think of anything to add, I'll update it later. Right now, I'm like this = u_u;. So, more later!
jupiterhalo: (Lock and Key)
I know this is late (but since this is the first time my computer's been working for at least three or four days), happy New Year, everyone! I hope it was safe, and that there was a lot of fun going on. :D

My New Year's weekend was all right... I spent yesterday working (10:00-7:00), and did the same today (10:30-7:30). Yesterday, after I finished work, I went and took a nap, then ate dinner at Old C's. :D After that, I decided to start writing my Scott x Jean story, and got about a handwritten page of that done. After that, I played "Resident Evil 4" for a few hours, then decided to go to bed. And then I worked. xD I've just about doubled my hours this week. I have Tuesday off, but then I work for the next eight straight. That includes inventory. :< But that's fine... I mean, I stay up that late anyway; I may as well be getting paid for it. xD

In other news, my car died while Shannon and I were hanging out tonight. xD We were at Pulcinella's getting me some pizza (I hadn't eaten since around 1 p.m. today). And then Foxxxy just died as we were turning out of the Hampton Inn. We were stranded for about 2 1/2 hours... I swear, my toes were NOT happy about that. Since I don't have to work tomorrow, my dad and I are going to go back and look at it. Hopefully we can get it to work... otherwise, I'm going to have to bum rides off someone, since my family doesn't have any money to get me a new car.

Hmmm... well, my New Year's resolutions are pretty much the same as they were last year:

-Try and lose a lot of weight (after all, I want to be down to around 120, eventually :D)
-Save money up for Fanime and NDK
-Try and get a computer for my room

Now that I have a VCR back, I've been playing games like crazy. I've been really into "RE 4," especially since I started my game over. It took me all of two days to get to where it took me over six months the first time I played it. xD I'm doing really well, and it's a lot of fun. Hopefully I can finish that soon and cross it off the list of games I need to play.

And in other random news, I found some Angus Macfadyen icons. xD That made me really happy. I <3 that man.
jupiterhalo: (Waiting for you)
Whew.

So, it's 4:39 a.m. I have to be at work by 11, and I'm planning on getting up at 9 so I can be out the door by 9:30.

I just spend the last two and a half hours shoveling snow away from my car so I can use it. xD My back is so sore already~! It sucked, since there was a lot of ice mixed in with the snow, and that made it difficult to shovel it.

However, now I have my own car back (hopefully!). The good news about that:

-I can go out whenever I want
-I can get my paycheck deposited
-I can get the check my aunt sent me deposited (yay, money!)
-I can go buy my Secret Santa gift for work

So, hopefully all that hard labor will be worth it; that way, my parents won't throw a fit at me again like they did tonight. >_o
jupiterhalo: (Ryousuke)
So, the Solstice party was last night.

I must say, I had quite a lot of fun. xD I'm really happy that I went, and I had a blast watching movies and hanging out with everyone. I was very happy to see Ana, Nic, Billy, and everyone else again. I haven't seen them in quite a while (damn work >_<). "Clerks II" was very amusing, so I'll have to see "Clerks" some time in the near future. "Interstate 60" was excellent as always. It's one of those movies that gets better every time you see it. I hope that those who hadn't seen it before last night (which were only Billy and Chris, I believe) enjoyed it a lot.

And when everyone was passing out gifts, I was surprised that I got quite a few. I was expecting one from Nic and Ana, but not from Billy, Andrew, Chris, Joe and Kira. xD; I thought that I wasn't going to get anything, which would have been totally fine. The group is far too generous (especially Billy O_O). <3 <3 <3 So I'll get them all gifts soon... I just need to get the funds for it.

But, yes. Party = good. Not having to work because of the blizzard and getting paid for it = very, very good. I may not have to work tomorrow, as well. ^_^

On another note, Jacob called me last night and wanted to know if I had any plans for New Year's Eve. I'm already working 2:00 to 6:00 that day, and I think that the girls and I are going to do something for New Year's Eve (right, you two? ^_^), at least for a little while. If not, then I may go spend it with him... but I don't know yet. xD We shall see.

So, it's less than a week to Christmas. The countdown begins... *cringes*

I don't think things at Macy*s will be all that busy, though. Luckily, I have almost all of my presents ready, except for a few that I knew I wasn't going to have in time for the holidays. So, I can always give those presents out after the holiday season is over.

So, the solstice party is tomorrow. And as always, I'm considering not going... I kind of feel like there are a few people who don't want me there, so what's the point in showing up? It would be nice to see Billy, Joe and the rest of the guys again, however. So, I don't know. I have to drive Shannon there anyway, so I may stay for a while. But we'll see.

The good thing about tomorrow is that Shannon and I are making soccer ball cookies for Ken's birthday on Saturday. <3 That's going to be a lot of fun, although I still need to buy the icing and sprinkles, as well as find a recipe for sugar cookies. I think that we have one that my great-grandmother passed down or something, so I'll see if I can find it for tomorrow.

Now that break has started, I've been trying to catch up on some movie watching. I've recently gotten into watching "Scrubs;" I even asked for the first season DVD set for Christmas. I went to a movie on the 11th ("The Holiday," with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz), which was fun. I haven't seen a movie in theaters since "Saw III." I watched my DVD of "Phantom of the Opera" as well, which was great. I remembered why I had seen it seven times in theaters when it first came out. I also went and rented a few DVDs at Blockbuster: "Superman Returns" and "Dear Frankie." I've been wanting to see "Dear Frankie" for a long time now, and the only rental place that had it was Blockbuster. So, when the DVD was *finally* available, I totally had to get it.

I watched "Superman Returns" first, because it was only a two day rental. It was probably a bad thing starting about one in the morning, since I fell asleep about an hour and a half into the movie. So I missed the ending completely, but from what I saw of it first was really good. Yay for James Marsden; he rocks my socks.

Now I'm in the process of watching "Dear Frankie," which is excellent so far. I'm about half an hour from the end. Gerard Butler's character makes me laugh; he's so awkward at first but then becomes so sweet. <3 The only bad thing about it is because it's a Scottish film, everyone has really thick accents. However, that really helps with the setting and the story. Frankie is a really cute kid. And Emily Mortimer, who plays his mother, also plays Young Sophie in "Howl's Moving Castle."

So, last night I went out to dinner with Jacob. It was still really awkward, especially since I was tired. He kept staring at me throughout dinner, which was very weird. He was also asking me about my dating history, because apparently Charity told him a few things. xD He also really didn't seem to be interested in many things I had to say; for example, I asked him what movies he had seen lately. He told me, and I expected him to ask me in return so we could have a nice talk about them. But he didn't. It still feels really strange with him.

Over break, I plan on writing a lot more. I need to write the following pairings for fanfics:

-Scott x Jean
-Keisuke x Sayuki
-Sayuki x Takumi

I also want to RP a lot more. It seems like Sayuki and Mako are doing a lot; the same with Hiro and Aya. I also need to work on my applications for Knight and Sailor Pluto for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], as well as finish my application for Laguna for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. Both Mako and Shannon wanted me to join, so I'll give it a shot.

I'll also be working quite a bit. Since my mother is losing her job in January, I want to save up some money so I can at least help pay for some of my education. I also need to start saving up for Fanime, NDK 2007 and a computer. So many things to buy; so little money to buy them with. >_>

Oh yes, it seems like a lot of people have been crabby lately. I wonder why that is...?
