xD That's pretty much how my day went.

But yay, I met my goal of 300 posts about nine days before my deadline.

I'm tired. I think I may go to bed... or go to the store.

Payday was today. It's nice having money again! Work was quite boring though, so I actually ended up writing the beginning of a fanfic. :D I wanted to work on it more today, but I didn't have enough time.

I may go to bed soon. It's waaaay past my bedtime. But first, have a meme. :D

Last night, I went to see Star Trek with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. I hadn't wanted to see it since it came out, since I'm not really into the whole live action sci-fi stuff. However, I will say that I was pretty impressed by it! I probably won't see it again in theaters, unless I go with another group, but I'll probably end up watching it on DVD once or twice. I thought that the reboot was really well done.

I also went to see Plasmacrash with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] on Friday! I think they get better every time I see them. Joe only played three songs of their set, since he's still not feeling well, but those three songs he played with them sounded the best. Elite was a really awesome band, too, even though I was only able to stay for about two songs of their set. I want to see them again, all the way through.

Work was a total pain in the ass last week. We had Monday off, so that caused a lot of our work to pile up. I ended up working straight through, from 8-4 (and 7-almost 4:30 on Friday) without taking a lunch and just going home early in order to try and catch up from the weekend. And this next week is going to be even crazier, since I have to help one of my coworkers with one of her projects... and school also starts on Tuesday.

But! On a good note... I'm going to start riding my bike to work on the days that I don't have school, and I'm going to try and not drive as much as possible. So, if I need to go somewhere and it's within biking distance of the apartment, then I'm going to bike. I'm also going to buy a new iPod in June, since my old one isn't working. I'm also going to pay off my small bill and get that out of the way, before I start working on my loan. Hopefully, if I can stick to the budget that I've made for myself, I'll have my loan paid off by November/December. Then it's to work on my credit card debt.

This weekend isn't long enough! I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. At least payday is on Wednesday. :D

I most definitely prefer to stay up late~ I love playing games and watching movies and stuff until the sun comes up. :D Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't fit my preference, since I work 8-5 every weekday. But I tend to stay up until at least 1 or 2, anyway... and much later on the weekends. xD

So, no creepy texts from the creeper today. That was nice. And the Doodz doesn't have cancer~ x3

But, I also messed up on some of my work, so that made me sad for a while. It wasn't a big deal, though, so I got over it quickly. xD

Well, I survived my first week of school and work. Even though it was pretty exhausting, it was really fun. xD My Psych teacher is really hilarious, and the class is looking to be easy. Yoga is also really fun; I'm enjoying it a lot!

I got my hair cut yesterday. Now I have fringe bangs and my split ends cut off. :D It was kind of amusing, though. The lady that was cutting my hair said that I had a chunk missing in the back. xD She asked me if anyone had played a joke on me and cut my hair, or if I'd gotten it snagged on something. But now my hair is the same length.

I also got farther on RE4 tonight! xD I've had that game almost two years, and I still haven't beaten it. I really need to keep going on it, as I'm pretty close to beating it.

So, my weekend hasn't even really been a weekend. xD Since I didn't get caught up during the week, even with Shannon's help, I went in yesterday and today to try and accomplish more stuff. And while I'm still not done, at least I'm in a good spot! All of the retail has been entered up to the 14th, so I just need to check it. That's definitely easier than entering the retail. While I'm still going to have to come in early tomorrow, at least I'm in a better place than I was.

And omg, I just had the most delicious piece of cake ever. xD I went to Genoa for lunch, after checking out NewWestFest (which totally sucked). I got a pizza bagel (which reminded me of my high school days...) and this piece of cinnamon cake. O.M.G. The cinnamon cake thing was excellent.

I just want to take it easy the rest of the day, but I know that I still have to try and find some new flats for work. >_> Ugh, I guess I should go do that...

So, today it was officially announced that Dalena is leaving Schrader's. D: Apparently she got offered a job that is a 'once in a lifetime opportunity,' and she would have been crazy to turn it down. It also sounds like she's going to be much happier with her new job; it's definitely more social, and she needs that.

But anyway, Debbie asked me to come to her office for a few minutes last Thursday, and told me that Dalena had put in her two weeks notice that very morning. She remembered me asking for more hours, and gave me the opportunity to go full-time, or as close to it as I can manage. What we're doing is splitting Dalena's position into a few different areas: Diane and Amy are going to do the lotto and the utilities, while I'm going to do retail. All of it. Posting, checking McLane's, and cutting the check to McLane's. Debbie also wants me to take over the ordering of office supplies. xD It's going to be a lot of work, especially with school starting! And I'm not moving to the back full-time, either. Diane and I are still splitting the front desk, in addition to all of this new stuff we're doing.

Speaking of school, here's what my schedule's going to look like:

Monday: Psych I (5:30-6:45)
Tuesday: Yoga (7:00-7:50)
Wednesday: same as Monday
Thursday: same as Tuesday
Friday: no classes

Edit: Yes, I am lame, and decided to drop three of my classes. xD I had a nice talk with my parents about it, and they helped me decide to stay with school, but don't overwork myself.

So, yeah. xD I'm going to need to find a way to get all of my schooling in, plus all of my work at Schrader's. I may cut back on school this semester, because it may all be a little too much. One more semester at Front Range won't hurt, right? Now I just need to decide which classes I want to keep, and which ones I can wait on.

Tomorrow, Dalena is going to show me how to do McLane's and tell me all of the deadlines I'm going to be responsible for. At least I don't have to technically be there until 9. xD But our computer is about to die at the front, so I'm going to bring in my flash drive (if I can even find it), and see about backing up all of our files onto that. Mike Jewell is coming in Wednesday night with a new computer for us; it's just a question of if our current one can last until he transfers everything over from the old one to the new. I guess we'll just have to see!

I also started playing Final Fantasy VIII last night, and I got a little farther today. It's such a fun game! I started flailing in happiness when I got to play as Laguna again. xD And I was totally fangirling at the SEED dance. VIII is such a glorious game!

So, movie and dinner night was really fun! xD We ended up watching Wild Hogs, which is actually a really hilarious movie. And dinner was fantastic; Debbie's husband grilled chicken and stuff for us. All in all, it was a really awesome time. I hope that we can do it again soon... it sounded like Sheena wanted to get everyone together to go see Sex and the City. While I already saw the movie, I think it would be nice to see it with another group of ladies. xD It was also really fun to be able to talk with everyone without interruption; everyone is so hilarious!

Bawwww, I'm so tired. I feel like watching a little bit of X-Men, so I think I'm going to do that before heading off to bed.

So, el Cherry Blossom festival was good. A little more boring than I had expected, but it was fun hanging out with everybody. And I'm really starting to love Denver! I could definitely imagine living there and enjoying it.

And omg, Dave and Buster's! It is so much fun! I want to go again. ;o; I have over 3000 tickets to spend, but I need more! And apparently there's a place that's similar to Dave and Buster's called Ben and Jerry's a few miles south of it in Denver. Sheena told me so when I talked to her at work yesterday. xD It may be worth checking out.

And ack, gas is so expensive! ;o; Though, not as expensive as in Long Island. xD I had a lady named Jennifer call from there wanting some gas bucks; apparently, her friend is moving to Fort Collins and Jennifer's getting together some gift certificates from local restaurants and all that for her to take with when she moves. That is so sweet! If I ever move, I want someone to do that for me. But anyway! She asked me what the price of gas was, and I told her that I couldn't tell her, since there is apparently a law in Colorado forbidding gas stations to tell their prices over the phone. When I told her that, she was like "Oh well, I'm sure it's not as expensive as it is here. We're up to $4.50 a gallon." x_x

It's funny. I remember trading e-mails with Robby like... 8 years ago when I was vacationing in California with my family. He asked me what gas prices were and I told him that it was over $2 a gallon, and him freaking out in response. xD; Nowadays, it's like... I wish gas was only $2 a gallon. Amazing how times change.

And bleh Maki is bleh. xD;

So, I just had a shower, and that was good. Although, what pissed me off is that the red in my hair is still washing out, and I ran out of hot water. That doesn't make any sense at all, because even though my showers last 10 minutes, I only use about 5 or 6 minutes worth of water. >_>;

Work tonight at Macy's was stressful, and it got even worse when I was wrangled into taking some more hours there that I don't want or need. I need to start focusing on school stuff, and fast, because there is a lot of stuff I need to be doing for my class that I don't feel like I have the time for.

The good news is that I bought four books in the last two days. x3 It makes me happy that my library is continuing to expand. I also finished the sixth HP book. Snape! @_@

Well, here is a list of things I want to do in the next few days:

*Do my taxes.
*Get some of my schoolwork done (like the biography that is due on Wednesday-- I haven't even picked a person for that yet. @_@).
*Balance my checkbook.
*Do some of those memes I have a list for. Speaking of, is there anyone who would like to request a pairing/fandom/whatever for that drabble meme? I'm still trying to decide what I want to do (even though it shouldn't be hard >_>;), but I really want to write something. So, that offer is open to anyone willing to take it up!
