Into the unknown

I haven't really updated in a long time. D: So, in case anyone's interested... here you go!

My birthday's come and gone, and it was mostly fun. I had a dinner with my friends on the 6th, since I was going to be in Boulder on my actual birthday. Everyone seemed to have a good time. :D Gerardo, Nic, Shannon, Kira, Jackie and myself ended up staying until Old C's closed because we were having fun talking to each other.

I went to see Regina Spektor with my sister on my birthday, and that was mostly fun. We did get into a fight early on in the night, however, and that made everything after that kind of awkward. It was over the stupidest thing, too, but... oh well.

School-wise. I ended up dropping Astronomy, since I couldn't learn anything from my online class. Which means I'm not graduating this semester. Instead, I'm going to take Meteorology and graduate in the spring (hopefully). Now we're on Thanksgiving break, which will be incredibly welcome.

I got Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles on Wednesday, but couldn't start playing it until Thursday night. I'm really happy that they were able to get back a lot of the actors to play their characters again, especially Leon's and Claire's. I mean, Alyson is the only one to have played Claire in English, so it would have been awkward to hear anyone else. I beat it last night, so now I'm going through and trying to find all of the files I missed the first time around.

Supernatural is going to kill me. :| No new episodes until January 21st? Augh! This last one ended so memorably, too. I don't know what I'm going to do if the CW does end up renewing it for a sixth season. Where can they possibly go from what's been going on in season five?

Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance." I can't stop listening to it. :|

Payday was today. It's nice having money again! Work was quite boring though, so I actually ended up writing the beginning of a fanfic. :D I wanted to work on it more today, but I didn't have enough time.

I actually haven't moved around all that much. 2008 was the first time I'd ever experienced moving, and I did it twice in a span of about six months. xD I've lived in Fort Collins all of my life, except for that 1 1/2 to 2 month stint in Loveland. My least favorite would have to be Loveland. I really liked the city, and I loved the place that I lived in. But it left me with financial debt, and I hated living so far away from my friends. My favorite place would have to be the apartment I'm living in right now. Even if there are a lot of faults, like our stupid bathroom and some roommate issues, I like it because it's my own space. I've proved to myself that I can live on my own, and handle a lot more responsibility.

School starts next week, and I'm so not ready for it. However, it needs to get done, since I'm only about seven credits away from getting my degree. I've also decided to try my best to double-major, so we'll see how that works out.

Anyway! Not too much has been going on lately. Work has been slow, although I spent most of yesterday morning fixing Bobbie's mistakes from Friday. The RP front is slowly starting to get busy... I'm working on my app for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], and I'm going to reserve a character for Salkia when I get finished with my Shadow app. I don't have to worry about [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] anymore, even though that makes me feel kind of depressed. I still want to RP Arashi somewhere; I just need to find a game that seems right for him.

I got talked into seeing the Star Trek movie by Shannon. xD While I'm not a fan of the show or anything, I'll just take it as it is.

Hmmm... I thought that I had more to update about, but I guess not. Oh! Except for Supernatural. The season finale was awesome, although not as epic as I had imagined it. This next season should be great. :D Speaking of, much love for my new Supernatural moodtheme.

I'm totally ready to give up on men. xD;

A few weeks ago, Jessie and I were doing tarot while Shannon was out doing something. We ended up talking about relationships, and we decided that as an experiment I should post a personal ad on Craigslist to see what kind of guy would respond.

So! There was this named Jeremy who responded and he seemed pretty nice at first. But then things started getting all... weird. Like... he sent me pictures of himself, and in both of those pictures he was like... showing off his body. xD It was odd. And I foolishly gave him my number, so he's been sending me really odd/wtf texts. One he sent me last night was "I want to rip off your clothes and make sweet love to you!" ._. And then he got confused when I asked him if this was a friends with benefits thing. Definitely not the brightest crayon in the box... Just, ugh. I have no words for him. And then today he wanted to know my age (at which point Shannon stole my phone and started responding for me), and what I did for a living and all that. xD; Even though I'd already told him that I work in an office. He's just being a pedo/creeper. ._,

And he JUST texted me! Asking what I was wearing. o_o Dude. He also sent me a drunk text yesterday at 11:30 in the morning. xDDD This guy really sucks.

And in other news, our newly adopted cat Doodles may have a malignant tumor. D: And that totally sucks, because we don't have the money to pay for the surgery. It'll help a bit now that Jessie has a job, but... still. I'm probably going to look into getting a part-time job so I can have some extra money. I was going to look for one anyway, but I wish that I didn't have to do it under such circumstances. And I don't want to give her up, because she's so cute and is just now finally starting to get used to us. So I'm going to do all that I can to keep her. But we'll see how it goes... I think I'll hear back from the vet tomorrow.

Just... blah. A lot of things in life suck right now. xD At least I'm starting to get back into RP. I really like playing Laguna; now I just need to do all of the other things that are on my list.
