Wheee, finally in Grand Junction~!

I didn't leave Fort Collins until after 1, got stuck in a traffic jam outside of Longmont and almost had a heart attack driving over the Continental Divide. But I eventually arrived in Grand Junction at around 6:15. Went over to Michael's and got my dad's birthday present, then went to Border's and bought a few books. Then Liz and I ate at Pizza Hut, then went and bought some snacks. So, with the $100 that was in my wallet at the start, I am now down to $14. xD; But that's okay... I still have a lot in my suitcase.

I met some of Liz's friends at Michael's. Eric, Zephyr and Lisa, I believe. They seemed really nice. And I also met one of her podmates, Dana (?). It turns out she's from Loveland, so it was nice to talk with someone who kind of knows the area around Fort Collins/Loveland. Everyone I've met so far seems really, really nice. I think I'm going to have a wonderful stay here.

Liz and I just finished reading some tarot cards, which was fun. xD I grilled her endlessly about what's going on between me and "him," and now I at least feel a little better about it. He wants me to take pictures of myself while I'm here, and send him "hot springs vibes." Naturally I thought of him when I passed Glenwood.

At least my shoulders don't hurt anymore. xD; But yeah, just letting everyone know that I made it here safely and have been having fun~!

So, our first day back at school was on Tuesday. I have Sociology Tuesdays and Thursdays, Music History II Mondays and Wednesdays, and Anthropology, Humanities and Comp Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So, again, school every day. But I don't mind- I think I'm going to enjoy this semester a lot more than the previous ones. It's mostly stuff that I love. <3

Humanities is the one I'm going to enjoy the most, I think. Beal is as giguely as ever- even though he wants us to call him Peter, I can't think of him as anything but Beal. xD When he was passing out the syllabus yesterday, he told us that it wasn't stapled because none of the copiers on campus were working. He told us, "So, those of you who get those pages out of order and don't have all three at the end will automatically fail the class." xD Same old Beal.

My Comp teacher didn't show up yesterday. xD We were waiting for 25 minutes before Kathy finally came into the classroom and was all "You can leave- he's not coming until Friday." So, that was fun.

Sociology is going to be really interesting, I think. My teacher is very amusing, and he seems like he knows quite a bit about the subject.

Music History was a bit of a letdown, since the teacher who was going to teach it originally was replaced by another one. Even though the new teacher seems awesome, I still wanted to have Debra as a teacher. xD That would have been totally awesome.

Anthropology seems all right, too. We do a lot of group discussions and journal entries, so it seems like it's going to be an easy class. My teacher is also really nice, so that helps.

In other news, I may be getting a new car. Foxxxy broke down a few weeks ago, and we still haven't towed her to my mechanic's. But my dad's been looking around for a new car for me, and may have found one up in Cheyenne. A co-worker owns it, and she's currently looking for a buyer. He and my mom are going to go up there tomorrow to look at (and hopefully buy) it.

I'm kind of glad that school has started again. That means that I can have a legitimate excuse for not taking on so many extra hours. xD I got paid almost $200 last week, since I worked over 35 hours. Today I picked up my check for $180/32 + hours. It'll be kind of nice not working so much.

Today was also my first appointment of the new semester with Britney. It was really great to see her again; she dyed her hair red. :D We had a really nice talk; I had forgotten how wonderful it is to actually have someone listen to what you really say and mean. I'm going to continue seeing her for a while; we already have ideas about what to work on and talk about during the semester. It seems like I've been improving a lot; a lot of the things I say and think now never would have even occured to me three or four months ago. Even though some of the things I thought would work out didn't, and I was getting some mixed messages... but that's okay. *shrug* I just need to focus my energies elsewhere, if that is the case.

I didn't watch as much anime as I had hoped over the break. I was hoping to try and watch all of "Ronin Warriors" and "Escaflowne," but I didn't even get to watch one episode. xD So that was kind of a letdown, but I was just too busy for it.

Speaking of busy, I haven't heard from Jacob since the 30th. Charity said that he's gotten really caught up in his job, and hasn't had the time to come up here. At least he's stopped calling me every day... xD But now Marco texts me endlessly.

I got another review for my Iketani x Mako x Ryousuke fic, and one for a Sailor Moon fic I wrote about six years ago recently. xD That surprised me, but it was a good surprise. I want to start writing more... I think my creativity is really starting to flow, now that I'm a little happier than I was a few months ago.

Speaking of writing, I really don't feel like doing that anymore. xD If I think of anything to add, I'll update it later. Right now, I'm like this = u_u;. So, more later!

I know this is late (but since this is the first time my computer's been working for at least three or four days), happy New Year, everyone! I hope it was safe, and that there was a lot of fun going on. :D

My New Year's weekend was all right... I spent yesterday working (10:00-7:00), and did the same today (10:30-7:30). Yesterday, after I finished work, I went and took a nap, then ate dinner at Old C's. :D After that, I decided to start writing my Scott x Jean story, and got about a handwritten page of that done. After that, I played "Resident Evil 4" for a few hours, then decided to go to bed. And then I worked. xD I've just about doubled my hours this week. I have Tuesday off, but then I work for the next eight straight. That includes inventory. :< But that's fine... I mean, I stay up that late anyway; I may as well be getting paid for it. xD

In other news, my car died while Shannon and I were hanging out tonight. xD We were at Pulcinella's getting me some pizza (I hadn't eaten since around 1 p.m. today). And then Foxxxy just died as we were turning out of the Hampton Inn. We were stranded for about 2 1/2 hours... I swear, my toes were NOT happy about that. Since I don't have to work tomorrow, my dad and I are going to go back and look at it. Hopefully we can get it to work... otherwise, I'm going to have to bum rides off someone, since my family doesn't have any money to get me a new car.

Hmmm... well, my New Year's resolutions are pretty much the same as they were last year:

-Try and lose a lot of weight (after all, I want to be down to around 120, eventually :D)
-Save money up for Fanime and NDK
-Try and get a computer for my room

Now that I have a VCR back, I've been playing games like crazy. I've been really into "RE 4," especially since I started my game over. It took me all of two days to get to where it took me over six months the first time I played it. xD I'm doing really well, and it's a lot of fun. Hopefully I can finish that soon and cross it off the list of games I need to play.

And in other random news, I found some Angus Macfadyen icons. xD That made me really happy. I <3 that man.

Wahhh, it's getting really late. ^_^; I'm over at Shannon's house... we've been doing our homework since we left Old C's at, like, 12:15. The Philosophy essays were SO boring! And I almost immediately forgot what I had read. But I improved on the quiz, though! Last time I got a 3 out of 10, and this time I got a 6 out of 10. So, while it's not really that good, it's definitely an improvement over my last quiz.

The stories we had to read for Lit were really weird as well. Actually, the only one I read was "The Yellow Wallpaper." ^_^; But it was kind of interesting... you literally see this poor woman lose her sanity (or gain it for the first time, depending on how you look at it. xD). Since I don't have my Lit book with me and just wanted to get this done, I tried looking up our other story, "The Yellow Woman," online. But all they had were essays and criticisms on "The Yellow Woman." So after spending about 20 minutes looking the story up on Google, I finally said "Fuck it," and just put something like "I agree with what this person said about the story." xD

But our Philosophy class is getting a bit better. At least Stanton didn't yell at us on Tuesday. xD Well, I guess there was also the fact that Ana sat in-between Shannon and myself, so we couldn't make trouble for ourselves.

Hissssss. I still have more Philosophy and Speech to do. >_> At least I got to talk to Chris last night, on an unrelated note (he said he was both tender and succulent xD). That was cool. And paychecks today! w00t! *holds up fish proudly*

Happy New Year's, everybody! I hope that it was a safe and fun event for all.

So, here are my new year's resolutions:

-Exercise more (a LOT more. If I want to get down to 120 pounds, I have my work cut out for me. ^_^; But hopefully I'll be able to do it this year!)

-Spend less money. As soon as I get money of any kind, I immediately go out and spend it. And that's bad! I need to start saving for things I want, like a car and a computer. Also, I want to have PLENTY of money for NDK. So all of the spending I'm doing has to stop.

Well, it's been a very interesting year, and I'll talk about it later. But now I need to get to bed, seeing as how I have to go to Foldy's in about four hours. e_E Be safe, everyone! <3

I'm sitting here on Shannon's bed at her house, typing this on Randy's laptop. xD; She's actually working on our Music History presentation about a piece of music that she has to present today. At 11:30. I think that today's going to be a long day, LoL. I'm really glad that I got my presentation done on Tuesday. Even though I feel like I totally suxxed. But it wasn't entirely my fault... the only things I could find on my piece are where and when Mozart possibly wrote it. xD;;

Anyway, I'm glad that the semester's almost over. This semester was really fun, though. I want to take Music Theory I, but it's offered WAY too early for my liking. ^_^; And Debra teaches it. While I like her a lot, the Music History class we've had has been really boring. And she doesn't know what she's talking about a lot of the time. While I don't pretend to know everything, I know enough to spot things that are incorrect. I think Debra is "making stuff up," as Gene would say. But all of my other classes have been fun. Well, except for math. xD; I've really enjoyed Fundamentals to Music Theory. It was really boring the first couple of weeks (practicing writing notes, sharps and flats, anyone? xD;), but after a while I really got into it. I was learning a whole lot of stuff I've either never noticed before or didn't really know about. And Tom's a really cool teacher, I want to take Guitar from him. ^_^ We should do that next year, guys!

But with the end of the school semester, that means more work at Foley's. >_> I've worked almost every day this past week. Wednesday was the only night I've had off. I'm working today through this coming Tuesday, and on the 16th I'm working from 1:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. e_E I know that I'm going to be making a lot of moneh (which I could always use), but seriously. I wanted to work, but not that much. ^_^;

On a happier note, I finally got a response from Robby. He said that for the past week, his internet has been down, so that's why he couldn't respond to my e-mail sooner. He was really glad to hear from me, which made me feel quite relieved. I told him that I thought he'd yell at me, and he was all "Why? I just want to leave everything in the past." Which made me really happy. I think that what happened with us is that we had a really great friendship, but I mistook that feeling for love. But I'm glad that we can put everything behind us. I just need to wait and see if Chris is going to get my letter. I actually mailed it on Friday, and the lady at the post office said it would take about ten days for it to get there. I would have mailed it sooner, but I was under the impression that it cost at least $5 for it to be mailed. But all it took was an eighty-cent stamp. xD; All I had was a $20, so that made me feel really bad. But at least it's sent, so I'm happy. Just need to wait until it gets there! I really hope he receives it. I miss him a lot.
